Gain an understanding of personal finance

Personal Finance is a deeply personal subject and it’s something no one teaches in school or college but you are expected to know about it the day you start working. No one really tells you if a debt is good or bad. Investing mainly means playing the stock market. All you are told is to save and put money in real estate. However, if you peel the curtain and ask questions like “how do I save?”, “how much is a good starting point?”, there are very few answers. When you bring up risk you get the plain vanilla answer, no risk no return. What does that mean? Most people talk about risk only when they lose money and it’s all about downside risk, the risk of losing it all but few talk about the other side, the upside risk. Then there is advice like put your money in FD’s as they are safe, don’t have a credit card, grow your own food! A lot of this advice has very little explanation behind it. Then you add family members and emotions into the mix and it gets really complicated really fast. I help people make sense of all this so they can make confident money decisions. It does not matter if you are a total beginner, someone recently committed to entering into a relationship, or become a parent. If you would like to know more click on the contact link below.
